The petals
The ribbons used to form the petals come from the recycling of scraps or dormant stocks. Some ribbons used are made from ecological materials: like cotton or recycled polyester for example. Before being made, we carefully perfume our ribbons in baths.
The leaves
The leaves are first designed in Saint-Etienne then woven in our workshop in Grammond (42) from polyester and recycled polyester yarns, 100% from the recycling of plastic bottles. These wires are manufactured in a short circuit in Italy and certified by GRS (Global Recycling Standard).
QR code weaving is one of our specialties that we developed after years of research and development. Thanks to this technical prowess, the QR codes that we weave are eco-designed because they are durable over time: the visual does not degrade over time and its content remains modifiable indefinitely.
Shaping
The petals are first prototyped in our studio in Saint-Etienne then made by hand in our subsidiary. It is meticulous work. As each rose is made by hand, differences may exist, making each flower unique. Here’s how we shape each rose by hand in the video below.
